NORCROSS, GA - The China-based parent of LifeArt Cabinetry Corp. played host for Gwinnett County, Georgia, Economic Development Commissioners. LifeArt Cabinetry in Fuzhou, China hosted the event this summer as a follow-up on LifeArts expansion in August 2014 in Norcross, GA.
LifeArt Cabinetry first moved into direct sales in the U.S. market in 2011, as a retail cabinet center. It has since become a sizeable maker of ready-to-assemble (RTA) cabinet lines, in both framed and frameless styles. In 2014, the Fouzou, China-based company opened a 100,000 square foot warehouse in Norcross, GA, from which it distributes ready to assemble kitchen cabinetry.

LifeArt Cabinetry says its U.S. business is owned and operated inside of the United States, with all manufacturing done in China. In March 2014, LifeArt applied for a Green Card, under the H-1B Visa program, permitting it to bring a computer systems operator from China to work at its U.S. LifeArt Cabinetry facility. The position was listed as paying a salary of $58,240.

The Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development-led delegation met with government and city leaders from Fuzhou. Members of the delegation include: Jace Brooks (Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners), Bucky Johnson (Mayor, City of Norcross), Nick Masino (Sr. Vice President, Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development), and Andrew Carnes (Director of Economic Development, Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development).
"We have full control over the design, production, and quality of our products," the company says. "We pride ourselves in becoming the first manufacturer obtaining 2020 Product Catalogs." With its lines receiving Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) certification, "All of our preassembled cabinet lines have passed the inspection in conformance with American National Standard ANSI/KCMA A161.1-2012."

LifeArt Cabinetry’s 95,920-square-foot Gwinnett showroom and distribution operations is located at 6700 Best Friend Rd., in Gwinnett County. Mayor Bucky Johnson of the City of Norcross, presented company executives with a key to the city.
