WINCHESTER, VA - American Woodmark Corp., which supplies cabinetry to the new construction and remodeling industries, announced today that Rob Adams has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Value Stream Operations. Adams manage manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, engineering and purchasing functions for the company's 9 manufacturing plants.
Adams will report directly to Cary Dunston, CEO.
"Rob's extensive experience in manufacturing, engineering and supply chain management make him ideal for this leadership position," says Dunston. "Rob will be instrumental in helping to lead the company towards our 2019 vision of achieving world class operations."
Adams joined the Company in 2008 as VP Engineering, and was promoted to VP Manufacturing and Engineering in 2012 and VP Value Stream Operations in 2014. Prior to American Woodmark, worked in general management and engineering at Diamond Innovations and Techneglas. He earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and an MS degree in Management from Drexel University.
